Our Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time; if you do not wish to accept the Terms and Conditions or any updates, you should discontinue the use of the site. Your use of the site will be construed as your acceptance and your agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Mad About Horses terms of payment are credit or debit card through Paypal.
We will not accept your order if payment is not authorised. Where there are issues with the authorisation process or validation checks, your delivery may be delayed as a result.
We do not have to accept your order and in particular, we will not accept your order if:
we do not have the goods in stock/the goods in stock appear to be damaged
your payment is not authorised
We will be in contact with you as soon as practicable (by email or by phone) in each of the above circumstances to discuss your options. We reserve the right to refuse any order.
You will be notified if we have sold out of a product that you have ordered, and your order will automatically be placed on back order. Payment will be taken at time of order to ensure that your order is guaranteed, however you will always be allowed the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Goods will be despatched as soon as they return in stock.
MAD ABOUT HORSES will endeavour never to despatch faulty items, however in the event of goods being faulty or damaged in the post we offer a full 7-day money back guarantee, or we will offer a replacement. Please let us know immediately and arrange to post the goods back to us. You will be refunded upon receipt of your faulty items.
If you do not inform us within 3 days, then we will have no liability for those items said to be faulty or damaged on delivery. The customer will be responsible for postage costs of the original purchase, we will bear the postage costs of faulty replacement items. All products are guaranteed for 7 days to cover manufacturing defects. You the customer are responsible for taking reasonable care of your jewellery.
This guarantee does not extend to accidental damage or damage caused by misuse of an item by a customer. A lot of the smaller jewellery items are very delicate and should be handled with care.
PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CUSTOMER BREAKAGES.
If you want your jewellery repaired please send it back to us, there will be a small charge for this service to cover postage costs. If your item is beyond repair we will inform you and send it back to you in the same condition.
If for some reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, notify us stating the reason why, within 3 days of receipt of goods. We will subsequently issue you with a refund for your goods providing the items have been returned to us undamaged within 7 days. When refunding the customer, postage costs of the original order will not be refunded. Please ensure when you order that you select the correct size, noting dimensions as listed, especially ring sizes – these are listed in the UK standard size format and in millimetres (circumference), for your convenience.
We regret that we cannot offer refunds on earrings, for hygiene reasons.
We will only accept return items using a signed for postal service – this is for your own proof of delivery, please use Royal Mail’s Signed For Delivery.
(The postage cost of the original order will not be reimbursed). Please ensure items are well packaged to avoid damage.
Items sent back to us if not faulty MUST be in a resaleable condition.

Silver prices can vary greatly and will fluctuate according to the price of bullion and exchange rates. We reserve the right to change product pricing at our own discretion according to these price fluctuations. Current silver prices as of 2014, have almost tripled since 2009, due to the dramatic increase in manufacturing costs in the Far East.
MAD ABOUT HORSES endeavour to display all our items as clearly and as accurately as possible. However, colours and images may vary greatly, depending upon your own monitor and browser, therefore we can not guarantee that items will appear exactly as viewed on your monitor. All product items are described with width/length sizes as accurately as possible. PLEASE NOTE products are photographed individually and are not necessarily pictured to scale, or in size proportion to other products, please note the individual dimensions as listed.
OUR PRODUCTS ARE NOT INTENDED FOR RESALE BY THE CUSTOMER.
All sterling silver items are stamped 925 (the best and finest) sterling silver.
All items comply with the current hallmarking legislation, and are hallmarked if they meet the necessary weight of over 7.78 grams, most charms weigh under this so will not be hallmarked, they are mostly all stamped 925 sterling silver depending on the country of origin.
Please note that cubic zirconia is the finest crystal, and since it is a man-made gemstone no two colours are ever exactly the same, so colours may vary.
All products are described as accurately as possible.
Mad About Horses are not responsible for how you care, clean and look after jewellery once it has left us here, we do offer a few tips but take no responsibility for how you look after your jewellery, and please note that some of our jewellery maybe oxidised (with blackened areas of detail), and cleaning oxidised sterling silver the same way you would polish normal sterling silver will ruin the oxidisation and completely alter the appearance and style of the piece. Please note that silver polish/dip is designed to remove oxidisation and tarnish but over time if used too much, silver will lose it’s original lustre.
